Your Mission:

This Sr. Product Marketing Manager will focus on the Customer Growth, Resident Lifecycle, and Screening pillars that create Appfolio’s value-added services. Report to Christy Mahar, a long-standing member of the Appfolio Product Marketing Team; she’s known for business impact, collaboration, integrity, and serving in mentorship capacities.

Prepare to develop Go-To-Market strategies that drive preference, adoption, and delight for the residential property management market. Develop effective messaging across services, with customer segmentation and the customer journey in mind. Serve as a trusted business partner to the Value Added Services, Product, Sales, Customer Marketing, and Product Marketing segment leaders. Deploy PMM strategies including in-app engagement, that drives customer value, revenue, and ARPU growth. Constantly look at ways to advance your craft, and evolve the segmentation strategies, messaging, and enablement.

You Can Expect To:

  • Partner with Customer Marketing to develop a regular cadence of customer education and programming.
  • Manage any third-party relationships with industry experts to build credibility in the market and increase customers' understanding of their responsibilities as it relates to compliance and fair operating standards.
  • Evolve ICPs (ideal customer profiles) based on the customer segments, growing markets, and customer insights garnered
  • Increase awareness and adoption of value-added services across the Resident Lifecycle offerings, mapping against the customer journey.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Product Marketing for a B2B software company
  • Experience in creating user personas and customer engagement strategies
