Your Mission:

Sr. Marketing Operations Manager acts as a Marketing Ops expert and leader to help ensure marketing efficiency and effectiveness across our robust Marketing Technology stack. Report to Joseph Armstrong, Sr. Director, Marketing Operation, and work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Business Systems. Prepare to sell ideas into the organization and be methodical in the action plans that follow.

Plan, create and execute strategies to optimize all phases of the customer lifecycle to drive Marketing KPIs. Be proactive in identifying both inefficiencies/bugs as well as new opportunities across a variety of platforms that include but are not limited to Marketo, SalesForce, DemandBase (Engagio), SalesLoft, Drift, and LeanData.

You Can Expect To:

  • Establish expertise in our lead lifecycle in order to best support our Marketing, Sales, BDR, and Ops teams.
  • Manage a queue of incoming requests/questions concerning operations, integrations, and processes that surface throughout the organization to ensure progress.
  • Point person for Marketing Automation Team questions on process and Marketo program builds.
  • Help establish process and QA to ensure any solution suggested/deployed by the team is designed with scale in mind.
  • Plan and drive team training throughout the year to improve skills of all team members.
  • Help ensure/monitor system uptime, and help establish/follow downtime processes.
  • Help create business cases for new technologies, as well as establish scorecards to help vet potential vendors.
  • Help ensure the Marketing team follows Marketing Operations best practices.
  • Work with Marketing Program Managers to help define requirements and manage the ongoing evolution of the Lead/Campaign Management, Marketing Automation, and other software needed for direct marketing and marketing analytics.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems including integrations between systems.
  • Own and optimize the full data flow for marketing demand generation including De-duplication, lead to account matching, metric definitions, lead lifecycle, scoring, and routing.
  • Optimize dataflows to ensure maximum visibility, conversion rates, and efficiency for the Marketing, BDR, and Sales teams.
  • Own Engagement Scoring workflows making sure there is continuous documentation and maintenance and that all needed fields and segments are available for teams.
  • Maintain the demand workflow in Marketing and SFDC, maintaining definitions and being able to troubleshoot when there is breakage.
  • Act in concert with our BDR Ops team to ensure process and workflow are optimized for our BDR team.
  • Oversees best practices for list uploads and ensures accurate and timely updates via internal and external resources aiming for automation whenever possible.
  • Help support onboarding of new team members through 1:1 meetings, documentation, and mentoring.
  • Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work.
  • With a passion for innovation, keep on top of current marketing best practices and implement them to improve campaign performance.

Is This You?

  • 4+ years of related marketing operations experience helping manage/implement/optimize several platforms in concert with high-level strategies
  • Marketo Certified Expert
  • Advanced experience with and integrated marketing systems
  • Experience with any of the following platforms would be highly desirable:
    • DemandBase (Engagio)
    • SalesLoft
    • Drift
    • LeanData
    • UberFlip
    • Ringlead
    • Qualtrics
  • Ability to assimilate complex concepts and clearly articulate business value
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
